given that energy becomes rarer and therefore more expensive,
there could be a time when many people can‘t afford
to heat up their individual homes at all times.
then there‘ll be hotpoints.
hotpoints are radiators in the shape of a big block with a round
curved roof situated in public places.
the block is heated up by a central heating system of the town
which supplies schools, hospitals, etc..
you press a button at the side to heat up the block for some minutes.
people will go there to get some warmth and to meet and chat.
every couple of minutes someone has to press the button.
when all the people have gone the hotpoint gets cold.
